Published on 01/28/2013

The scientific priorities of theAMI 2011concern:

  • the mathematical analysis of meta-omic data on microbial ecosystems,
  • gaining a functional understanding of microbial ecosystems using meta-omic analyses.

Consistent with these priorities, preference shall be given to projects combining mathematics (including informatics) and biology.  It is expected that projects should be multidisciplinary and include dimensions or prospects of an international and/or partnership nature. The declarations of intent expected can concern:

  • research projects,
  • international scientific management actions (including training activities),
  • scientific networks,
  • project incubation actions with a view to responding to international calls for proposals.

All proposals should be compiled inEnglishand they will be evaluated by experts external to INRA.

This call is open to all INRA units or those involving INRA(UR, UE, UMR, USC). Only INRA units can receive credits from the metaprogramme, even if the projects mention other contributing teams or partners.  Collaborations with private companies are possible but will not be funded by the programme.
