2) Governance of the MEM metaprogramme

MEM Thematic Groups

MEM Thematic Groups (TGs), representative of the various scientific communities present in the metaprogram, were formed from 2013 to support the members of the Steering Committee.

Thematic Groups (TGs) were established by the members of the MEM Metaprogramme Steering Committee. They concern the following ecosystems:

  • Food: food ecosystems
  • Digesters: digestive ecosystems of man and animals, artificial digesters (methanizers, industrial fermenters for biomass processing, energy production, depollution ...
  • Pathobiome: ecosystems of pathogens within their biotic environment
  • Agri: agricultural, forestry and aquatic ecosystems
  • A Math group is transverse to the previous ones. It is organized in the form of:

TGs members contribute their scientific expertise and strengthen the exchange and dissemination of information within their communities. Discussions within the TGs contribute to the development of the metaprogramme strategy by identifying shared (scientific, conceptual, technological ...) locks and proposing actions to remove them.
